Release Stressful Emotions and Become Clear

The following is a subtle and very powerful technique that you can use whenever you would like to shift your emotional state, to change negative thoughts patterns, let go of stressful feelings and shift to more joyful and empowered states.
It can in fact be easier for us to let so of painful feelings and even extreme fears, when we recognise the advantages of doing this and allow ourselves to do so. Even if there are significant reasons and times in the past when we were hurt or feel resentful about, when we took on limited ways of thinking, these experiences do not need to continue to limit you in any way. You can instead choose to process and let go of the fearful and hurt feeling and release your energy to move forward.
The following is a helpful process to do this. The process involves fully welcoming uncomfortable feelings that are in the background of our experience, feeling them completely and then letting them go:
Step 1 - Become aware of and interrupt the fearful pattern of thinking, recognise and acknowledge the underlying feelings , the fear and anxiety that is supporting the negative thinking pattern.
Step 2 - Ask yourself what feelings you are trying to avoid (this could be anger, sadness, hurt, guilt, fear or other painful feeling), check in and allow these feelings to be present, no matter how uncomfortable they may be
Step 3 - Invite the emotion to make itself felt. Simply welcome the emotion no matter how unpleasant. Lead from your Heart space maybe by putting your hand on your heart, rather than your head and feel how you feel in your body as you go through this welcoming process..
Step 4 - Welcome any sense of wanting to change, fix, get rid of or hold on to the problem. Of not wanting to feel the discomfort. Finally welcome any sense that the feelings and beliefs associated with the problem as being who you are, as being your identity, even as you continue to feel the feelings
Step 5 - When you are fully associated with the feelings as pure emotional energy (rather than story or reality) - Ask yourself could you let the feelings go? Would you let these go? And when? Take a deep breath, feel your energy expanding and notice how the energy has shifted.
Even if you sense it difficult to let go, and the answers to the questions at step 5. are in the negative, simply going through this process will help you shift to a clearer state. When we are truly feeling our feelings and become aware of our identification with the limiting thought patterns and story line, we can choose to drop the latter and move back in to a natural flow of feelings as a process. Do have a sense of compassion and patience with yourself as you go through the process, it may be helpful to repeat the process a few times and to come back to it when you need to.
From this clear state you can invite and connect to your true inspiration and guidance. You also gain clarity about what you truly want. You allow yourself to desire and expect more, while being present, balanced and at peace with where you are.
